Wizkid
MORE LOVE, LESS EGO
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium celebrated Africa in an historic Wizkid concert on Saturday night (29 July).
The Afrobeats pioneer is one of Nigeria’s most successful exports and became the first African artist to headline at our world-class home with his 'More Love Less Ego' Tour.
Emerging from the stage mist in a bright red suit, Wizkid brought the energy from the start with his hit Reckless and dazzled tens of thousands of fans with an impressive set design and a setlist influenced by the continent’s traditional sounds and vibrant colours.
With five studio albums to his name, the 33-year-old powered through recent big hits including Ginger, Mood and Essence as well as older songs in Ojeulegba, Don’t Dull and That’s My Baby, mixing English and Yaruba vocals as the audience danced and partied as one in a vibrant dancehall atmosphere.
His party track Joro closed the show in style as flames and fireworks lit up the night sky to create an incandescent conclusion to another successful music event held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
